Shame is not something most people can easily put into words. It often lives quietly beneath the surface, influencing how you see yourself, how you relate to others, and the internal stories you carry about your worth, your value, and what you believe you deserve in life.
This work does not approach shame by trying to simply reframe or override it. Instead, it meets shame where it actually lives, in the body, in the nervous system, and in the deeply held patterns that were often formed early in life when parts of you learned that something about you was not acceptable or safe to express.
In Shame & Self Worth work with Andrew J. Heinz, the focus is on creating a safe and steady space where these patterns can be gently recognized rather than resisted. There is no pressure to perform, explain, or justify what you feel. Instead, there is room to slow down and begin to experience yourself with less judgment and more understanding.
Over time, something deeper than self-esteem becomes possible. It is not about positive thinking or surface-level confidence, but a genuine shift in how you relate to yourself from the inside out. From that place, self worth is not something you have to earn or prove, but something you can begin to reconnect with and embody more fully.
